i haven't seen my south african based brother and his family for a few years now. it's been so good spending some time with him again, and especially meeting my 2 year old niece. the main reason for their visit to germany & austria, was to celebrate my folks' 40th wedding anniversary. and that's what we did. typically, at least for south africans, part of any celebration weekend involves a braai (bbq), some beer and some kind of ball sports.
